A woman in her 70s has died in a house fire in Carrick.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the fatal house fire at around 5am this morning.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai say investigations are continuing.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
