Rising prices for energy in Ireland are ‘scandalous’ – Deputy Doherty

A Donegal deputy has accused the Irish government of ‘sleeping at the wheel’ and ‘sitting on it’s hands’ when it comes to tackling the rising cost of energy in Ireland.

The comments are in response to figures published by Eurostat and the CSO showing while prices decreased around Europe, that was not the case here.
