It has been confirmed that Derry will not be a host port in the 2024 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Derry City and Strabane District Council will now work on a new format for the Foyle Maritime Festival following the news.
The city was one of the longest running host ports for the race, operating as an official host since 2016.
