31 lives lost on Irish roads since August

Gardaí in Donegal are urging drivers to heed simple road safety advice this week: Do not drive under the influence, slow down and wear your seatbelt.

This week marks Irish Road Safety Week.

The number of road death in Ireland has risen from last year following particularly tragic summer months.

31 lives have been lost been lost since August 14th on Irish roads, bringing the total figure to 136.
