Donegal schools to benefit from funding to strengthen Irish language in schools

A number of schools in Donegal are to benefit from €2.18m in funding announced to strengthen the Irish language in schools.

The funding has been approved for the next 3 years to strengthen and expand the Gaelbhratach scheme.

The initiative, administered by Gael Linn focuses on the promotion of the Irish language in a structured, planned and enjoyable way in both primary and secondary schools.
