The Nine Til Noon Show with is broadcast, live Weekdays from 9am to 12noon, with Donal Kavanagh standing in for Greg Hughes this week – the podcast is below.

In Part One, after a look at the papers, we are joined by Irish Times Health Correspondent  Paul Cullen to discuss the dismissal of a locum radiologist at LUH after a mistake rate of over 33% was detected. Susan Gray of PARC discusses the reduction in the number of gardai assigned to Roads Policing, and we speak to the father of a child with Down’s Syndrome who says he was told by a professional during a care plan meeting that children with DS are ‘lazy’…….

In Part Two, Garda Grainne Doherty joins us for the Community Garda Information Slot,  we speak to a  member of Debtors Anonymous, and the uncle of a 16 year old girl from Derry who died after taking ecstacy in June speaks about the mural unveiled in her honour……………

Part 3 begins with an in-studio discussion with the candidates for the Presidency and  Vice Presidency of the IFA, and Irish Independent Environment Correspondent  Caroline O’Doherty discusses the slow progress of flood relief schemes……
