Sinn Féin’s Imelda Munster has announced she’ll not contest the next general election.
The TD for Louth and East Meath was the first woman ever elected in the constituency.
She says she’ll continue to work for the people of the North East until this Dáil term ends.
Deputy Munster was first elected to the Dáil in 2016, and says this was always her plan.
