A male has been arrested in Derry and charged to court for drink driving.
This comes as a result of Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team who have been carrying out vehicle check point this weekend in Derry with the assistance of the dog unit in the run up to the festive season.
A number of drug detections have been detected as a result.
There will be increased police patrols and vehicle check points in the run up to Christmas with a focus on drink driving.
