People from Wicklow spent most during Christmas 2022, while those from Donegal spent the least at €1,512.
Data from AIB also found the busiest time of the year for spending in store was between 12pm and 1pm on December 23rd.
While for men it was a last minute dash at lunchtime on Christmas Eve.
