111 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country today.
The latest INMO figures show 80 patients are waiting in emergency departments, while 31 are on wards.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 51 patients on trolleys.
That’s followed by 12 at Letterkenny University Hospital.
