Donegal records high rates of COVID, flu and RSV over Christmas


Donegal was among the worst hit counties for COVID, flu and RSV over Christmas week.

The Irish Independent reports that it’s estimated around 10,000 people will have caught the flu from mid-December until the third week of January.

It’s set to peak over the next two weeks.

Meanwhile there were 345 cases of RSV reported last week in Ireland. 113 of those resulted in hospitalisations.
