Mark English set a new Irish indoor record on Sunday.
The Finn Valley AC athlete won the men’s 600m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Brighton, Boston USA.
He lowered the national mark clocking 1:16.64.
The four time European medalist is preparing for the National Indoors in two weeks time where he will defend his indoor 800m crown and will be chasing an 18th national title.
