Finn Valley Athletic Club’s Lauren Callaghan and Oisin Kelly of Cranford Athletics Club represented DCU at the Irish University Athletic Association Indoor Championship in Dublin.
Callaghan won gold in the long jump with a height of 5.98 metres while Kelly came first in the 800 metre race.
Carol Lafferty set a new record for the Finn Valley club in the 800 metre race after beating her own record at the David Henry International Meeting at Boston University where she was competing for Providence College.
This evening, Mark English and Roisin Flanagan will take part in the Millrose Games, a World Athletics Gold Indoor meet in New York, representing Finn Valley.
English will take part in the 800 metre race and Flanagan will compete in the two mile race.
