IFA to protest outside meeting of Donegal County Council this week

The regional chair of the Irish Farmers Association says that for quality, local food Irish farmers need better support.

The body will be staging a protest outside Donegal County Council’s Special Plenary meeting in Lifford this Wednesday as part of a national action.

Speaking to Greg Hughes on this morning’s Nine till Noon Show, Frank Brady believes Irish farmers should be better paid and are under too much pressure from government in terms of environmental impact:
