‘Common sense needs to prevail when purchasing social homes’ – Cllr Molloy

A West Donegal Councillor believes common sense needs to prevail when purchasing social homes.

It’s emerged the sale of a house in the area was almost complete when a defective block survey was requested.

Councillor Anthony Molloy says the house in question was built 60 years ago, many years before defective block properties were erected.

He says there needs to be a review of criteria governing the purchasing of houses:
