There’s a €600 price gap between the most expensive and cheapest creches in Donegal.
A survey of 220 creches across the country carried out by the Irish Independent revealed that creches in South Dublin are the most expensive in Ireland at €1,578 per child, per month compared to the least expensive creche in Monaghan charging €340.
In Donegal, quotes for full-day care in creches range from €600 to €1,200.
