A total of 96 asylum seekers have been subject to an enforced deportation or assisted return so far this year.
According to the Department of Justice this is a 50% increase on the same period last year.
586 deportation orders were issued up until May 17th.
The Minister for Justice Helen McEntee says she expects to see more deportations in the coming months………….
