Donegal County Council is lodging a funding application for the Buncrana Leisure Centre under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund, which has a closing date of July 1st.
Local Councillor Jack Murray says with planning permission already secure, the council still has the option of seeking funding for the centre within the Shore Front development project, but this could have the centre constructed even earlier………..
