A 25 year old man was arrested last night following the seizure suspected drugs in Derry city centre.
Police responded to a report just before midnight, resulting in the man being arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class C controlled drug, theft, fraud by false representation and possessing an article with blade or point in a public place.
The man remains in custody at this time, assisting police with enquiries.
