A heroic man who risked his life twice to save an elderly man from a house fire has been nominated for a National Bravery Award.
Kealan Dolan ran into a burning cottage in Corkey, Manorcunningham on Friday last when he noticed smoke coming from the house.
County councillor and chairperson of the Donegal Joint Policing Committee, Gerry McMonagle, says Kealan is very deserving of the nomination.
