Calls for more powers to stop anti-social behaviour in HAP houses

More powers are needed to stop anti-social behavior that is happening in private houses that are receiving HAP payments.

Cllr Martin Harley told a recent meeting of the Lifford Stranorlar MD that residents shouldn’t be left in fear and that the council should have more authority on the issue.

He says the same rules should apply to those in privately rented housing as it does to those in council housing.
