IMO raises health and safety concerns over HSE’s recruitment ceiling

The Irish Medical Organisation has warned a recruitment ceiling being implemented by the HSE could pose a health and safety risk to hospital patients.

It comes after the HSE officially lifted a nine-month-long recruitment ‘freeze’ yesterday and replaced it with a limit on the number of medical staff that can be hired.
