Yesterdays announcement of the TEN-T project receiving Cabinet approval to move to the planning stage means traffic problems in Letterkenny are one step closer to being resolved.
Cllr Donal Coyle says the Bonagee Link is an integral part of the project that will alleviate the towns chronic congestion.
Welcoming the news yesterday Cllr Coyle said the step that was taken was important.
He added that when complete, it will benefit the county as a whole and business owners in Letterkenny in particular by removing unnecessary traffic:
