Anti-immigration protestors outnumbered by anti-racism demonstrators in Belfast

A small gathering of anti-immigration demonstrators were outnumbered in Belfast city centre by around a thousand people chanting anti-racist slogans last night.

Police had separated the two groups and closed off roads after several nights of violence which saw homes and businesses targeted.

A 61 year old man was arrested and is due in court today, becoming the 22nd person to face charges after a week of unrest.
