The average rent for new tenancies in Donegal is the lowest in the country.
Nationally, new tenancy rates grew by just over 8% in the first quarter of this year.
According to the Residential Tenancies Board, the average standardised rent for new tenancies in Donegal is €950 per month, 55% below the highest which is recorded in Dublin at €2,128 per month.
