Over half of cars in Donegal failed the NCT during the month of September.
4,176 tests were carried out in the county last month.
According to the NCT website, 1,983 passed, 1,859 failed and 334 failed dangerously.
Letterkenny recorded 147 dangerous fails, the highest in the county, while also having the highest pass rate at 48.4%.
