Labour says the next five years are ‘crucial’ for Irish defence forces

Labour has described the next five years as “crucial” for Ireland’s defence forces.

If returned to government, the party is promising to implement the Working Time Directive, provide for overtime payments and develop new housing for serving members.

It’s also pledging to protect Irish neutrality.
