The Fianna Fail vote is down around 20% in Inishowen.
Sinn Féin has secured the majority of votes in the peninsula, according to tally figures.
However, Charlie McConalogue and Pat the Cope Gallagher’s Director of Elections, Senator Niall Blaney says while the vote in McConalogue’s backyard was crucial, it is manageable.
