The HSE West and North West – University of Galway Cancer Network has received European accreditation.
The network is only the 20th to achieve the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes accreditation across Europe.
The recognition focuses on enabling a complete quality system for cancer diagnosis, care, education and research.
The HSE West and North West cancer programme provides a satellite centre at Letterkenny University Hospital.
