Eight children along with their carers and siblings have arrived in Ireland from Gaza, for urgent medical attention.
The World Health Organisation requested support from European countries to evacuate patients from Gaza to Europe last April.
Ireland is one of the first countries to accept the young patients who are suffering from Cancer, Haemophilia and other health disorders.
The Children flew in from Slovakia via Cairo on Friday.
UNICEF’S Executive Director Peter Power says 10 countries are taking in sick children.
