Government criticised for ‘taking holidays’ during Storm Éowyn

The government is being criticised for ‘taking holidays’ while the country was being hit by a record-breaking storm.

While power has been restored to over 764 thousand homes, farms, and businesses, the impact of Storm Éowyn is still being felt by 2 thousand customers now 17 days without electricity supply.

Sinn Féin MEP Lynn Boylan says the government choosing to not recall the Dáil and answers questions about the crisis was wrong:
