Gorse fire at pettigo brought under control

A Sunday evening gorse fire near Pettigo prompted a rapid response from Gardaí and the Fire Brigade, who successfully contained the blaze at Tieveboy within two hours.

Traffic was managed as crews worked to extinguish the flames, which were first reported at 5 o’clock.

No injuries were reported.
