Dog owners in Donegal are being urged to keep their pets under control especially during lambing season.
Donegal County Council say sheep are particularly vulnerable during this time.
It’s appealing to people to not let dogs loose in areas adjoining livestock fields.
Many attacks, the Council warns, are caused by dogs which escape and attack sheep grazing nearby.
