An East Derry MLA has told the Assembly there is a crisis in NHS dental provision in Northern Ireland which must be urgently addressed and reversed.
Cara Hunter told members dentists are handing back NHS contracts, saying many people are being given a very blunt message – Go private or go elsewhere.
Calling for a root and branch review of how the dental service is structured and funded, Ms Hunter told the Assembly the situation is worsening……………
