The new Mayor of Derry says he’ll continue to use his platform to help tackle violence against women and girls.
28 women have been murdered in Northern Ireland since 2020.
A vigil was recently held at the Guildall in Derry for pregnant, mother-of-two Sarah Montgomery, who was killed last weekend.

Stormont is now responsible for covering the running costs at Derry City Airport, freeing up the bill for the local council.
New routes have been announced in recent years, including to Edinburgh and Birmingham.
