Councillor says a deer cull is needed in Donegal now more than ever

A Donegal councillor says there needs to be a frank discussion about a deer cull in the county.

Cllr Michael Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig says with no natural predators, the deer population is growing, and with that growth is coming an increase in the number of accidents involving deer and cars.

He wants all agencies to get together to discuss how best to address the issue, with the National Parks and Wildlife Service taking the lead……………
