It’s been confirmed that Strabane man Kieran Kennedy has resigned from his role on the Invest NI board on the 26th of June following a meeting in Belfast.
Mr Kennedy, says the reason for this, is the apparent discrimination against the North West region.
It’s reported that the former O’Neills boss says the team was not committed to achieving regional balance in Northern Ireland.
He was due to complete his second three-year term in April 2026.
