Funding has been secured to progress a new Garda Station in Carndonagh.
Announcing details of his department’s spend for Budget 2026, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, Jim O’Callaghan identified Carndonagh as one of two towns for funding under the National Development Plan.
The other is in Castleroy, Co. Limerick.
Welcoming the announcement, Donegal Minister of State, Charlie McConalogue says securing funding is the fist step in delivering the much needed facility:
