The new Customs cutter, designed to withstand the inclement weather off the northwest coast, was officially launched.
Cosaint will be operated by Revenue’s specialised Maritime Unit.
Details on the vessel, which includes an on-board operation room, were previously given at the relaunch of Donegal’s Divisional Coastal Watch to tackle drug smuggling.
