Drivers are being asked to avoid the N14 between Ballyholey and Galdonagh following reports of a road traffic collision.
Details of the incident have not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, Councillor Gary Doherty is warning motorists to take extra care on the N15 near Liscooley if it is being used as an alternative route, due to surface water in the area.
