Donegal continues to rank among the top-performing counties for growth in new electric vehicle ownership.
Figures released today by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that sales of new EVs in the county have risen by 75% compared to last year, increasing from 202 to 353.
Meanwhile, overall new car registrations in Donegal recorded a modest 1.4% increase, rising to 2,784 between January and October, compared to the same period in 2024.
