
A Donegal born nun is urging people with power to do what they can to reunite over 250 abducted school pupils and staff with their families.
Over 300 were abducted from a secondary school in Nigeria, 50 of them have escaped from their captors.
They were taken from St Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri.
Manorcunningham native Sr Mary T Barron is Superior General of the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles, which runs the school.
Speaking from Ghana on today’s NIne til Noon Show, she said there is a feeling of powerlessness among the sisters, but their hope is that by highlighting the plight of the missing girls, they hope those who do have influence will act………
