Patrick McGettigan had an impressive winner at Dundalk yesterday evening after stepping in at late notice to ride “Arctic Steps” to victory for trainer Paul Mulligan.
The horse went to post at 12/1, with the young Ballyare jockey just pipping it ahead of “Hasiyna” to take the win in the 17:25 five-furlong apprentice handicap.
