ATU Donegal landed another trophy as the men’s freshers Gaelic footballers won the HE Division 2 League Final last night.
The side, managed by Ryan McHugh and Peadar Mogan, led 1-04 to 0-03 at half time and produced a big second half to run out 2-14 to 0-4 winners in Garvaghy.
Danny Brown hit 1-5, Shane Callaghan chipped in with six points for the freshers and Mark Patterson bagged the other goal.
QUB managed just one point from play throughout the 60 minutes.
