DSDC urges visitors to use cemetery bins properly to keep graves tidy and respectful

Derry and Strabane District Council has issued an appeal for cemetery visitors to use bins correctly.

There have been instances where soil and garden waste has been placed in waste containers, making them difficult to empty.

As a result, delays and overflows occur, with rubbish sometimes ending up on graves.

The Council is asking for a community-wide effort to ensure a peaceful and dignified resting place for all.
