The National Novice and Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships took place in Abbotstown on Sunday afternoon.
Donegal’s Caolan McFadden claimed gold in the under 19 boys event.
The Donegal women finished third in the Novice championship, the team comprised of Nuala Bose, Sally McMenamin, Bronagh O’Gara and Bernie Martin.
Meanwhile, in America, Oisin O Gaillin broke the Donegal indoor record over 5000 metres.
