Seventeen childcare services risk closure from tomorrow if they fail to finalise their Tusla registration, potentially impacting hundreds of families.
All early years services are required to renew their registration every three years to continue operating.
Tusla says more than 3,200 services met the December 31st deadline, but others didn’t – and its team is working through the weekend to prevent disruption.
