On Friday, the 10th of April, at approximately midday, a lady was attacked by a dog in the area of Lurgabrack, Hornhead, Dunfanaghy.
The lady was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The dog in question is described as being medium-sized and of a light colour.
No further details are available as of yet.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may be aware of a loose dog to alert the dog warning or contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon.
