Jigsaw journey comes full circle for Donegal campaign officer


A Donegal woman who turned to Jigsaw for help as a teenager now says the service became a lifeline for her.

Ballybofey native Rachel White, now Campaign Officer with Jigsaw, first accessed support while she was in secondary school.

It comes as the charity’s 2025 annual report shows waiting times for young people seeking support have been cut in half, despite record demand.

Jigsaw received more than 11,000 referrals last year, the highest in its history, with referrals rising by a further 33% so far this year.

The organisation’s Donegal service is based on Pearse Road in Letterkenny, with calls for more outreach supports across the county.
