Scoil Náisiúnta Gort a’ Choirce is to add the patronage of Saint Carlo Acutis to its name.
Carlo Acutis was born in 1991 and died in 2006. He was canonised almost a year ago, on September 7th last year.
A special celebration will take place this Sunday at 11am, with Bishop Niall Coll celebrating Mass and a Monsignor from Assisi bringing relics of Saint Carlo Acutis.
